Alza currently has two USB 4 SSDs on offer. This and the ADATA SE920 SSD 1TB USB4 external SSD. ADATA SE920 did not convince me much by the designed architecture, where the fan must be manually triggered by the user. That's why I gave a chance to Verbatim TurboMetal, which I connected with the included cable to the Mac Mini M4 PRO. And it looks like a big win for Verbatim. While in the Blackmagic Speed Test the ADATA SE920 reached a speed of about 3400|3600 MB|s, Verbatim did an incredible 4300|5100 MB|s, as evidenced by the screenshot. Are we happy? We're happy.
