The product currently has only one star on Alza, which is a big mistake. I was looking for a top of the line humidifier - and I got it. Before buying, I did my research to understand the different technologies that today's humidifiers use. The most common type is ultrasonic (the one we all know - it emits mist), and I've had several of those historically. The way ultrasonic humidifiers work causes white dust to form and settle on furniture. Plus, I was annoyed by the difficulty of cleaning them. If, on the other hand, you reach for an evaporative humidifier, you have to buy filters (or should it be called a sponge? ). I recommend finding a video of what such a filter looks like after a few weeks of use. Steam humidifiers have a higher energy consumption. I had never heard of a "disc" vaporizer before and when I saw it on video, I didn't really want to believe it could work. However, the reviews on foreign forums were excellent, so I took a chance. Moreover, here on Alza there was one used piece for only 6000 CZK. What was my surprise when I first turned it on! Immediately the humid air started to flow out of the device and the humidity in the room (about 20 m²) started to practically rise before my eyes (verified by a separate hygrometer in the opposite corner of the room). Moreover, the air is really very pleasant and fresh. I don't know how to describe it - when you enter the apartment, you feel like you are somewhere near a lake (it is not ionization). For me, an absolute recommendation for all those who no longer want to spend money on half-baked solutions and are looking for the highest quality, although unfortunately at a higher price.
A quality product that does what is expected of it and does it really well
Fantastic humidification performance - in a 70 m² (2+kk) apartment, I had about 30% humidity. Currently 45% in the room where the humidifier is and 38% in the furthest part of the apartment from the humidifier
Large water tank
Quiet - even at the lowest power level it adds enough moisture to the air and I have no problem sleeping with it
Easy maintenance - the aforementioned "disc" inside can be put in the dishwasher and the rest of the appliance is virtually maintenance-free
Design - can of course be individual, however I like it (I have a black one)
Display - not distracting in terms of luminosity, sufficient in terms of information (it is touchscreen)
LED strip - purely for decoration, however, it allows you to change the colour to any colour via the app (it can also be switched off completely)
Moisture measurement when the machine is switched on is about 5% higher than on a more distant hygrometer
The mobile app is not worth much - it is not even possible to set the automatic change of mode (power) according to the time of day - however, automatic maintenance of the set humidity allows and works without problems
Google Home integration is missing - but Home Assistant makes sure of it
It does not have a light sensor to switch itself to night mode
Still need to change the "hygiene disc" - less than 1000 czk per piece. The machine runs 24-7, I plan to change it every six months
I would have liked an even bigger water tank, respectively. possibility to refill the tank - the filling risk is about in the middle of the container (still about 10 litres)
Price - I was lucky to get a good deal on Alza, however I would have paid full price and still been happy
