Unifi controller (standalone software) includes a nice mobile app, you can see quite a lot from it. I managed to get the Unifi Controller running in Docker on a Synology NAS, so that's great, otherwise I would have had to have a comp for it. It was also possible to pair it (I didn't pair Wall7 Pro in Docker, I guess the network configuration was broken)
MESH needs to be set up on the cable, but then it works even if you don't have UTP connected to the device (just beware, the transfer rate goes to half)
