I bought it as a smaller version for the Tescoma Azza Santoku 18, which I probably use most often in the kitchen. It has a weaker blade and a smaller handle, which is not a bad thing, I take it as an additional knife for smaller and precise cutting, ideally of vegetables, but I have no worries that it will also cut meat and other ingredients well. Personally, I think that the Azza range from Tescoma is really excellent, if not the best choice for the given price. However, it is necessary to take good care of this type of knife and it is best to cover the blade with a steel before each larger cut and learn how to work with it correctly, so it is possible to achieve almost perfect sharpness without the need to sharpen the knife and thus remove material from the blade, or in amateur conditions even damage the blade with bad sharpening.
