The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a very decent phone. They are not just blank numbers on paper. The feeling in the hand is good, but it depends mainly on the appropriate packaging. The new One UI 8.5 system runs very smoothly and you don't have to wait for anything. When I compare it to the older S24 Ultra, the difference is noticeable. The S24 Ultra was a decent worker, but the current novelty is more fine-tuned, better photography is simply a class better, especially at night the resulting photo is noticeable thanks to the f/1.4 brightness. The 5000mA battery is decent, but could have been 6000-7000mA if it didn't significantly affect the dimensions. The display of the phone is also very good, but compared to the S24 ultra I could not tell the difference by eye.
Privacy Display
S Pen
Video stabilization
Fast 60W charging
Convex rear cameras (need a suitable case to keep the phone from wobbling)
Lack of English in AI functions (Call screening, translations, etc. )

Right off the bat, a really perfect transfer of all settings from the old phone to the new one. Including the car. filling in passwords, logging in to all WiFi ever used, of course, transferring data from calendar, SMS, photos, videos and picture. It's really progress.
the transition from S20 5G FE to S26 ultra is already noticeable, S26 ultra is noticeably faster
brighter and sharper display
new interesting One UI 8.5
pairing and control from the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro headset, without the need to install an app.
if you have at least a 40W charger, charging a fully discharged mobile phone to 100% is really incredibly fast in just tens of minutes and be careful, no heating!
when talking even in a slightly busy environment, hard to hear the handset despite its max. settings
the solution is to switch to loud listening, which is really very loud, but everyone can hear what you are saying.

I've been using the phone for a week and so far I'm happy😀 I switched from the S22 Ultra, which is a 5 year old model and the difference in performance is dramatic. For those moving from S24 Ultra and older models, the phone offers enough innovation and performance👍 For those who have S25 Ultra, the phone will not satisfy you - it offers minimum innovation👍 As for HW. The display doesn't offer 10-bit colors (only support), but it still has great luminance (easy to read in sunlight), great contrast, and the colors look much better. The Privacy Display feature was a success. Sure, it'll reduce the brightness of the display and reduce the resolution a bit due to the pixels being off. But with maximum protection, you cannot see the contents of the display from about 45° on all sides. You just need to use it properly, just PIN protection, banking, notifications and maybe for social networks. Here, you don't need to have the resolution or brightness at the highest level, and you don't need to turn this feature on for videos, photos, and everywhere else. The battery is still only 5000mAh, so Samsung should slowly upgrade this. But the SW and HW is so well optimized that the battery life is at a great level, it still lasts at least a day of use 👍The system cooling is also great, the phone almost does not heat up at all. Wired charging has moved from 45W to 60W and wireless to 25W from 15W. The absence of magnets for magnetic charging (you have to buy the covers) is a big disappointment, especially when they sell magnetic charging stations and stands. Not all of us want to have covers that cover the beauty of the phone and increase the size of the phone 👎Cameras have better apertures, so night photos and videos look beautiful. The front camera has a larger FOV. Now, thanks to GoodLock and its Camera Assistant (a Samsung app), the photo size has been increased from the basic 12Mpx to 24Mpx in the base - better and sharper photos. Unpleasant is but the island for the rear cameras, it is too protruding and the phone wobbles madly on the table, you can not use it for example for writing with S-Pen (S22 Ultra wobbled too, but the lenses were only maybe a millimeter protruding and it was almost not noticeable). Speaking of S-pen. It's smaller, thinner. The new one has a rounded header for the sake of the phone's design, and like the S25 Ultra, it doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. I don't take this as a negative as I don't use these features. If you use them and cling to them, the phone is not for you. The AI features are again great, but you won't use 50% of them in the Czech Republic. Deleting objects from photos and adding objects to photos is again top notch with Samsung (you won't find better on other phones). Gemini and Perplexity with Bixby work as they should. But features like Call Assistant (Spam calls or call translation) are not available due to the lack of English. As well as an interpreter. Hopefully Samsung will add it soon 😎 And that's about it. This phone has its flaws, but the pros outweigh the cons, and those who are switching from older models (2 years and older) will not be disappointed 👍.
Display (Samsung quality)
Privacy Display (cool feature)
Charging speed
Cameras (quality of photos and videos is awesome)
SW and HW optimization (better performance and low power consumption)
AI editing of photos and videos (object deletion still ranks Samsung #1)
Sits well in the hand thanks to the more rounded corners
Software support for 7 years
Magnet for magnetic charging is missing (this is very disappointing)
Battery size has been the same for a couple of years (5000mAh)
Protruding rear cameras (can't have the phone turned on its back)
Missing English in AI functions (Call screening, translations, etc. )

When moving from the S23 Ultra 1TB to the S26 Ultra 1TB, I didn't know it would be such a leap. I was reluctant to make the switch because of the really quite high price of the device, but now I know I did really well and I'm set for at least 3 years just like with the S23 Ultra. The camera is great, the speed of fingerprint reading finally meets my demands - whether when entering the phone or, for example, confirming payments. The only thing I would change are the rather protruding cameras on the back of the phone, but I understand that 200MPx won't fit anywhere right away.

A bit of a disappointment for me. I'm evaluating a mobile phone priced around 40k, so stricter benchmarks can be applied here. The photomodule on the back was probably designed by someone who will probably never use this phone. When placed on the table, it wobbles so much that it is uncomfortable, which should definitely not be the case with a machine designed for work. Even most of the covers sold won't save it. Another minus is the missing magsafe, which is again not present in the body but you have to buy the corresponding cover. For a 15k phone I would probably wave my hand over it, for a top model it's a shame. The stylus feels like a plastic carnival toy, is very thin, so it is difficult to hold in the hand and sticks out the wrong way when inserted. The lack of bluetooth is just a small thing. The phone is filled with bloatware from Samsung and its literally "cluttered" One UI is already starting to resemble Chinese brands. The privacy display, which was supposed to be Samsung's biggest draw according to the presentation, is for the most part more of a marketing gimmick and its benefit is more than questionable. I don't expect I'll ever use it, but some users will probably tout the display dimming and viewing angle limitation as an awesome feature. Most of the AI features that Samsung attracts us to are unusable in our conditions, as English is unfortunately not among all supported languages. Otherwise, the performance of the phone is decent, the display has a nice color rendering, but due to the confident price it is again not such a miracle. I don't rate the video because I don't use it practically. The photos are nice. Can I recommend it? If the phone is to be used primarily for gaming, video shooting and photography, do not mind the absence of magsafe, unpleasant swaying on the table, language restrictions on some functions or the high price for the brand, then the purchase can be recommended.
Power
Quality camera
Large enough and nice display
Extremely convex photomodule (swaying on the table)
Missing MagSafe
Too thin stylus with a slanted tip
Privacy display is more of a marketing gimmick
Most AI functions without English
Lots of pre-installed bloatware from Samsung
There is practically nothing in the packaging and the recycled paper box is not very impressive either (unfortunately a common trend nowadays)

After trying it, I definitely recommend to buy
Definitely the camera, the 5x option
optical zoom, perfect videos, I took night photos, it's incredibly beautiful
Very fast, handles even demanding tasks without hesitation
Fast 60W charging
The phone looks solid
It looks very nice
Super is the so-called. privacy display, one swipe darkens the display and makes it so that "onlookers" can't see the mobile screen
Easily transfer from your old phone to your new one
More battery life would be nice
Need to buy a 60W charger
English doesn't work in some AI apps
Despite the launch discount, it is quite expensive

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra surprised me very pleasantly and after a few days of use I can say that I am quite satisfied with it. I was deciding between the S26+ and the S26 Ultra, and for the photos I'm glad I went with the Ultra. This is where this model definitely did not disappoint me. The camera is one of the strongest points of the phone in my opinion. Compared to the S23+ and the S26+, it's definitely a leap forward. The quality of the video is also very good, the picture is smooth, sharp and the colours look natural again and, above all, perfectly stabilized. The phone is a bit bigger, but it's not that different from the previous S23+. Surprisingly, I would have expected it to be harder. I use the stylus minimally, but it is there as a small plus for me. The only complaint I have is the non-recessed lens, the phone can not be laid flat on the table, but this is an element of all new Samsung. Too bad that even this time there are no magnets included for wireless charging.
