The sound quality is fine. But headphones are incredibly delicate. I don't sleep in them, I don't throw them around or use them roughly in any way, but just pick them up a little less gently or put them on the table and immediately there is an unpleasant fussing, hissing or popping noise.
I have been using them for just over a month and I am almost certain that within six months I will have to replace them as these problems will become permanent over time. I have encountered a similar fault with Apple headphones once before, where the constant noise was caused by dust that got into the microphone.
I don't know how Samsung managed it, but their headphones feel even less durable and less usable in everyday life than Apple's first-generation headphones.

Great choice for me.
