Bought as a replacement for an older PHILIPS body trimmer that had a dead battery. So far, everything has gone smoothly. The life of a new battery is almost 80 min. Since I still have 2 other machines, I expected that my original mains charger (which by the way fit all older PHILIPS machines) would be compatible with this model, but it is not. The connector on the machine is slightly different and older PHILIPS mains adapters cannot be inserted into it. It is thus possible to use only the supplied cable for charging - USB-A at one end, an innovative 2-pin connector at the other. It works with any USB charger, which I consider an advantage, e. g. when travelling.

I have the same problem with the one I bought as a successor to my previous model, which lasted a good 5 years before the battery died.
