It is a very good iron. the logic of ironing is actually working very well, so for those who are sceptical you don; t need to be, it works great. the iron is light, glides very well and works also fast and without big remarks. However, few points for which I didn't put the highest vote - normal mode is too weak for me, for majority of items I'm using high amount of steam (eco mode is from my point of view useless, besides maybe for sport clothes). Second thing (which I don; t believe is better with other models honestly) is that when you use high steam, you hand is risking being burnt due to lots of steam rising or reflecting form the board. So, you need to somehow learn to manage this and then it is quite ok. But if Philips manage to solve this it would be great. All rest if really good, no remarks and I'd suggest the iron in general (and also I'd suggest the iron over the traditional iron that uses also heated plate. only steam is really great, fast and efficient.
ironing is very fast
vertical ironing also works surprisingly well
besides the negative point I commented, all the rest works really realyl well: )
very satisfied and woueld buy again
when using lots of steam, there is high risk of getting burnt - steam rises from the board in large quantities, possibly burning the hand)
The steamer is operated with just two buttons. Switch on/off and then press steam. For some it might be strange but I find the steaming control ok, at least you can't hurt yourself with escaping steam. At first I found it a long wait for the iron to "start" but since it indicates readiness by beeping itself and by stopping flashing, it doesn't really matter. It can easily cope with ironing shrugs and various pocket overlays, ruffles, etc. So if you don't need a classic iron for various "steamless" iron-on patches, this is the obvious choice.
long supply hose so the machine can lie on the ground
very light "iron"
strong steam power but clothes are not damp, shirts are ironed on both sides
huge water tank
can not burn clothes
ironing is at least twice as fast as with a conventional iron
My first steam station. So much easier and quicker than normal iron. First item had a defect that leads to stop generating steam afree 15 min of use. With second item there is o such issue, but ppwer of steam is much lower after some time, so i am doing short breaks (2-3 min) every 15 min so it would warm up better.
Doing great job.
Much better tnan normal iron
Start time is pretty short
Stable on a board
Had exchange firt piece, as it had factory issue
After some time you need to wait to continue ironing
It' s great, I had a Tefalka for 15 years, it has served its purpose and this is a nice upgrade at a good price. Light in the hand, it automatically adjusts the temperature / or irons anything without solving the temperature and waiting, and most importantly without worries. Excellent removable water tank. Valve for easy descaling. I am satisfied with the mic, ironing is quick!
