A normal basket, which we chose due to the convenient dimensions, however, we were not entirely happy that the top part with the rotating lid has to be pushed into (not onto) the bottom part, which requires both hands and a little patience. This in itself is not such a problem until you want to remove the top part, for example, because you have in your hand e.g. leftover food that you want to put in the basket and you don't want to get the top muddy, so you can take it off with one hand, but then you can't put it back on. Maybe a small thing for some, but it bothers us quite a bit. Again, this probably makes the plastic waste bags hold better and they don't tend to slide into the bin.
It's hard to find bags for this basket that don't have to be stretched out to be used
