Poor quality product just like everything that stopped being made like Mackie and became Onyx (I have their mixers etc, so I have experience - Onyx switches always break in a year and service will tell you you've used it too much). Everything that could be scratched - from connectors to potentiometers, cheap knobs.
the gain control works in the last millimeter of the track and you just can't set it that way. There's no update on that.
I only use it as a volume control for studio monitors and headphones. I quickly got used to it, I should have discovered such a USB external sound card sooner.
