I have somewhat mixed feelings about the electric pressure cooker. Although the design is beautiful, it has quite a few things that bother me. Personally, I'd prefer a stainless steel container, given that the non-stick surface is a potential hazard and I haven't tracked down anywhere what this particular one is composed of. When the surface gets scratched, the complete machine will have to be thrown away, which I think is a shame. The ideal would be if the container was portable for induction, where one pulls the meat in and then has it papinated. Related to that, I also missed a handle or a handle to take out the inner container when you want to pour the broth. As far as functionality, why isn't there a beef program when there's chicken and pork? The outlet of the pressure valve has to stick, personally I would prefer something that loosens and drains itself. The valve was sputtering and splashing and unfortunately not only water. The pot is equipped with a timer, but you still need to add the pressure cooker, which can be 15 minutes more. The lid handle doesn't feel completely ergonomic in my hand and it was also hard to hold. For a pot that is quite large, the internal volume seems quite small. The pot also comes with a plastic measuring cup and a sort of mini scoop - for me these are unnecessary plastic.
