We use it daily for tea (and in the coffee maker) and it's great. However, the ordinary bi-flux cartridges can't handle it - the coffee & tea ones are much more effective
It really proves that strong lime (plus other elements) water can really be used for tea and does not make cloudy
According to the test papers the water in the well had 500mg/l of nitrates, the limit for drinking water in the Czech Republic is 50mg, for infants 10mg. After using this filter (Bi-FLux Nitrate), the value dropped to <10mg. Odhadem asi cca 5mg, i chu ťově se mi nyní zdá podobná balené pitné vodě. Nevýhodou je, že filtr nemění tvrdost vody. Velmi tvrdá voda stále zůstává velmi tvrdou/tvrdou.
