A pleasant surprise – for the price of a lower-mid-range fitness tracker (around £50/1,500Kč on offer), you get something that is more like a solid (dumb) smartwatch. A huge step up from the older Honor Band 5 fitness tracker.
I recommend paying extra for the PRO version with GPS – you will be able to track outdoor walking, running, and cycling without a phone in your pocket. The non-PRO version requires the phone's GPS to track distance and speed during outdoor activities. However, keep in mind that turning on sports modes that use GPS drains the battery significantly. Otherwise, under normal use, the battery lasts for about a week. I am slightly annoyed by the confusion surrounding the automatic workout detection.
If detection is turned off, the "workout time" (the middle of the activity rings) barely counts at all – for a 20-minute walk, it might only log two minutes (I don't get it; it should be all or nothing).
If detection is turned on, the tracker vibrates after a while during certain sports and asks if it should start tracking (e.g. for walking – although detailed tracking only starts after you confirm). However, the "workout time" activity ring then fills up even during the time when detailed tracking is not running (an inconsistency compared to when workout detection is turned off, where workout time is practically not counted at all unless the workout is explicitly started). When walking, incorrect automatic detection of the sport type and activation of tracking happens quite often – instead of walking, the elliptical trainer pops up (and interestingly, it doesn't ask to start this, it just starts straight away). What's more, the elliptical trainer repeatedly reappears in the personalised menu of sport activity shortcuts. Automatic detection cannot be turned off for individual unused sports – turning on automatic detection applies to everything that supports it. But this is a minor bug that you can live with quite easily.
What I miss, and what even the previous Honor Band 5 didn't have, is a workout program for open-water swimming (ideally with GPS distance tracking).
High-quality materials (pleasant plastic strap and lightweight metal body of the band)
GPS for walking, running and cycling without needing to have a phone with you
large and easy-to-read display even in the sun
lots of functions and analysis right on the watch
more detailed review in the Huawei Health app
one-week battery life on a single charge (if sports functions with GPS are not used)
fast charging
A sufficient selection of watch faces (including free ones)
Sufficient customisation options (layout of application screens)
inconsistencies and inaccuracies in the automatic detection and tracking of sports activity
there is no open-water swimming programme (only pool)
rather complex installation of the supporting Huawei Health app (not in the Google Play Store – it has to be "sideloaded", and you also have to install the Huawei AppGallery)
By linking it with Huawei Health, you are sharing your health data with China
You cannot turn off the automatic detection of individual sports that you do not do (to prevent accidental activation of tracking for a sport you never do) – automatic detection is either on or off for all sports for which it is available.
shorter USB-C charging cable with proprietary charging pins that don't hold ideally (if the cable starts to "pull")

nice big display
Warning! The watch does not have an ECG as stated in the description. I bought it mainly due to heart problems and unfortunately it doesn't have this function.

A very good fitness tracker, bought as an alternative to the Fitbit Charge 6. It counts steps accurately, the strap on the black model is very comfortable and you can barely feel the tracker on your wrist. Sleep tracking is very precise and the tracker also has a great night mode which can be set to turn on automatically at any time, or switched on manually. The GPS is quite accurate, but the tracker overheats when using it in direct sunlight. In my experience, it also uses a lot of battery; 10% of the battery was used up in 2 hours (with GPS). The app is fine, but the weather and Moon phases only work when the GPS on your phone is turned on.
large display
Thin
>10 days battery life

Overheats in the sun with the GPS on.

I bought the watch on 8 May 2026. I’m generally quite happy with it, apart from three things:
1. Given that this is the Pro version, which is larger, why isn’t there an NFC chip included for making payments with the watch, especially at that price?
2. It’s great that they’ve included a GPS chip, but it’s terribly unreliable; very often it fails to find a signal and tracks without GPS – in almost 50 per cent of tracking sessions – so because of this I have to connect it to my mobile for GPS
3. Whenever you want to use the watch for a hike or any outdoor sport, and you start a run or a walk, it starts to overheat and displays a message saying it will switch off in 5 seconds, cancelling all your recorded progress. This is something that really annoys me about them, and it even happens to me quite often whilst driving – I’m just holding the steering wheel and the watch switches itself off. I’ve never seen a sports watch overheat and have to switch itself off outdoors, especially as they’re designed for sport.
Large legible display
Light on the hands
8 days’ battery life on a single charge
Metal frame
Accurate step measurement
Missing NFC
They overheat and then switch themselves off in the sun
Poor GPS signal

I bought it mainly to track my steps and monitor my sleep, and everything works as it should. I can’t feel it on my hand at all – it’s incredibly light and thin. The battery lasts me about a week, which is brilliant. The value for money is absolutely top-notch. I can’t really fault it; I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to spend more than they need to on an expensive watch
super price-performance ratio
It measures your heart rate and steps quite accurately
The torch will easily last a whole week
The belt is comfortable
The mobile app could be a bit clearer

A lightweight and comfortable wristband with a long battery life. I haven’t come across any significant drawbacks so far. The display is bright, notifications work without a hitch, and the app is easy to navigate. Excellent price/performance ratio, I recommend it.

The bracelet certainly has interesting potential, but unfortunately this is undermined by its complete inability to function in normal outdoor temperatures. Unless you’re the ‘office type’ who spends all day in air-conditioned rooms, these problems with overheating will be a constant nuisance.
My recommendation: If you’re thinking of buying, think carefully. Speaking from personal experience, I would advise everyone to invest in a more expensive model, which has a much better-designed casing and cooling system. Unfortunately, this model disappointed me, and next time I’d choose something else.
a well-made strap
design and compact dimensions, but at the expense of functionality
ideal conditions for the bracelet: long battery life
A beautiful, easy-to-read display that shows a great deal of text
fast charging
Catastrophic overheating: The device is completely unsuitable for outdoor use. At the slightest hint of sunshine, it reports overheating and shuts down the app or the whole watch.
Practical impracticability: Problems commonly arise when driving, going for a walk or working in the garden.
Unreliability: Because they keep switching off, you can't rely on them during outdoor activities.
The app doesn’t take into account at all that people might work night shifts or have a strict wake-up time, yet the train still doesn’t run, so there are days when it’s impossible to complete the trio.
There aren't many free watch faces available, so the app effectively forces you to pay for the premium version.
Overheating damages the battery and causes a rapid drop in charge
