The ambient temperature sensor isn’t working at all. Throughout the barbecue (which lasted several tens of minutes), the thermometer showed an ambient temperature of 90°C, even though the temperature inside the barbecue was 230°C or higher.
The response to changes in temperature inside the dish is incredibly slow – 15 seconds or more.
In reality, the Bluetooth range is a maximum of 2–3 metres.
The display is difficult to see in sunlight.
