Standard Garmin chest strap. It connected without problems to my watch (FR255), cycling computer (Edge 530) and PC (TP Virtual, via ANT+ dongle). I've tried the exercise and the bike, it responds as it should. The lack of running momentum doesn't bother me so much because I already have most of it in my watch. The battery is hidden under a screwed cover, a torx T5 is included (it's almost like a T4, my home T5 is a bit bigger). The electronics housing is larger than the HRM Pro and harder overall (hard plastic without soft rubber). It's a bit of a problem when you're lying on your stomach, but the pad compensates. Small people with flat chests might not mind. The belt is harder to adjust than my old HRM Pro, it's a bit of an IQ test, but it can be done.
