In the pictures it looks nice and well thought out, and in reality it was exactly the opposite. It can probably be mounted in a classic 3.5" slot, but if you have mobile drawers instead (e.g. Fractal Design enclosures), you can't put it in there, at least for me, because the drawer supports mounting with screws from the bottom, while the bezel only supports mounting from the side (the classic 3.5" drive supports both). It can be mounted in the PCI bracket, but from the picture it seemed that the bezel can be positioned in any direction (drives to the floor or drives to the ceiling) by simply swapping the direction of the bracket. It can't, because there are paws on the cover that make it impossible (when turned, they collide with the inserted 2.5" disk), and yet the paws have no function there, I don't understand (to support the frame, they would have to be from the opposite side). Another problem is that unless you have a perfectly straight power connector (the cables go exactly backwards), you will have a problem mounting the drive in the bottom position, or inserting two drives. If the bezel wasn't so long and ended at the same time as the edge of the 2.5" drive (or at least there were holes for the cable), it wouldn't be a problem. Again, there's no obvious reason why the bezel would need to be that long (other than the fact that the manufacturer's logo is visible there), it's just ill-conceived. In addition, the piece of sheet metal makes it very difficult to handle cables when the frame is in a PCI enclosure, because the only supported orientation is illogically disks to the floor and sheet metal to the ceiling, so you can not get there with your hands. If it could be reversed, it wouldn't be a problem. Overall, not much, the purpose is fulfilled, but the manipulation is for punishment. A few small changes would be enough to make it much more usable.

The overall design of the product corresponds to the price. We bought it as a temporary solution to place the drive in the pc until it is replaced with a ssd drive. The bezel is quite large and you have to be careful when plugging the drives and inserting them into the pce slots, as its width makes it rest on the pce slots of the motherboard. The pivot between the holes for mounting the discs is not precise and the holes are so big that the attached screws almost fall through them. When wiring can be a problem if you have a connection to sata rectangular connectors cables which in our case does not allow the connection of two drives but only one, if someone has cables with straight connectors problem in it probably will not, it depends on the location in the PC case.

Great stuff for a few pennies. Allows you to mount two 2.5" slim drives in the 3.5" position. The grommet has holes on it for mounting a 120mm fan. The only disadvantage I would see is the poor accessibility to the screws that hold the bottom disk.
