A good and cheap TRV for Home Assistant via Matter that runs locally without the cloud. Be prepared for manual firmware updates via the Aqara app, and regulation based on a room sensor in HA. The display might face the wall after installation – in the case of a perpendicular installation.

Firmware doesn't update via Matter: factory version 1.0.0.6, yet HA reported it as "up to date". Updated to 1.1.1.2 only via the Aqara Home app by switching to Zigbee and back (no hub required), with a reset and re-pairing
Valve position is missing via Matter
It measures the temperature next to the radiator (it was showing 28°C), and without an external sensor or calibration, it regulates based on an inaccurate reading
External sensor, window detection, and schedules are only available in Zigbee mode or in the Aqara app. In HA, this can be managed via Better Thermostat and automations.

It should have PID control, or at least PI, but obviously it doesn't work as it should, which is the case with rads. the warhead is a major problem. This has been addressed on the manufacturer's forum and may be resolved in a future FW update.
