I was choosing between a leather cover and a silicone one. After reading the reviews on reddite, I read that this year' s Apple leather covers do not have the best quality. I therefore opted for a silicone cover. And I have to say that I made a very good decision. The previous transparent plastic cover showed the design of the phone, but it was very sweaty in my hand. The silicone cover does not have such a problem. It is very thin, has cut-outs for speakers and a connector, is compatible with a magsafe stand, and has a very good surface finish, as it does not look rubber / plastic in the hand at all. The only pity is that it is not made in white, so I have to have white (officially gray, although gray is just such a side steel frame) 13 for in a dark blue cover.
