Maybe it's a compatibility issue, but I couldn't get the phone to connect to my computer using this adapter:
- when connected to the USB-C port and USB-C cable, there is no connection
- when connected to USB-A port with USB-A to USB-C cable, only charging works
- charging and data only work when connected to USB-A port via USB-A to USB-C adapter and USB-C cable (same as in first test) but it defeats the purpose when I need it directly from USB-C port
- Micro-USB cables from USB-A ports work fine, so it's probably not a problem of specific cables, USB ports or phone
- ChatGPT claims the fault is in the adapter (if I should believe him)
A lot of time has been killed searching, so hopefully the description above will help someone
Relatively compact and robust. Unfortunately, I'm not able to charge it via the cable plugged into the Macbook (from the socket works fine) - which was the main reason for the purchase. I will be returning the goods
