In the instructions it is mentioned three times that the metal contour must come at least 50 mm from the edge of the table top, but nowhere is the maximum written. If you add a metal structure in the middle of the configurator plate, the crank will not extend far enough to turn the crank.

You can't screw it centered to a 160x80 table top as the manivel won't turn, it needs to be moved to the front for it to work and given it is sold with the table top, that should be mentioned somewhere. It just says minimum 50mm on both sides and shows it centered but it should say maximum 120mm on the handle side. So basically the instructions have missing information which can cost you a table top. A bit disappointing seeing how there are no such problems with cheaper products of other brands
