the environment for pensioners is really good, simple, clear. You can set, adjust and number of tiles, add screens and links to them. but it's still running on top of Android, which is always peeking out somewhere.
I recommend buying a lanyard (e.g. AlzaGuard Universal Phone Lanyard). You put it under the cover, it holds it and then the pensioner puts the phone around his neck and doesn't have to worry about it falling off.
