I wanted to try the matte film for glare reduction, the privacy filter is an interesting bonus. I find the quality of the film very good, after years of glossy displays I enjoy the matte finish. I'm getting used to not being able to see the people next to me on the screen. The only place it gets in the way is when the display is flat. But the only scenario I've come across where it bothers me is when shooting at non-standard angles. So I would like a version without privacy filter.
