I chose the monitor as an external monitor to NTB with requirements:
1) 27" and FHD only, for higher FPS in games
2) max. 180Hz, because I can't get more FPS in any game anyway and the web doesn't give a shit
3) integrated USB hub, because the NTB doesn't have many USB ports and thanks to the integration into the monitor, I can keep a clean space on my desk where I don't need to have any other hubs or docks
4) integrated speakers, for better sound than the NTB itself
5) No pivot (planned to mount on AlzaErgo mount and without pivot is cheaper) This Iiyama met most of my expectations. The picture after proper and considerable calibration is awesome! The resolution is enough and I get almost double the FPS in games at the same settings. The monitor went on the Alza Ergo, so it doesn't matter that this model is not on a pivot and its position adjustment options on the factory stand are poor. But if you want, there is an identical model with a pivot. The available USB ports accommodated everything I needed. Only I was disappointed by the speakers, whose sound is not only not better than what I get directly from the laptop, it is even significantly worse, literally so bad that the speakers have not sounded so bad in any of my NTBs, including office models for the last 15 years, and even my phones sound better. So if this is your choice, skip this monitor. Otherwise, the five-button control on the back is masochism. I've never seen so many fumbles before I set something up. Fortunately, you don't do it every day.
Image quality
Really low response
Built-in USB hub (4x USB)
built-in speakers
Setting options
Only Full HD, so you can see a little bit of raster (but I bought it with that in mind)
Stupid control with many buttons on the back
Significant correction of factory, oversaturated settings is required to ensure realistic colour rendering
relatively wide bezels compared to other brands, especially the bottom edge
Some people might be bothered that you can't adjust the height.
I'm really annoyed by the fashion of many manufacturers, where the control buttons are somewhere in the back. So one has to either look at the buttons to know what to press and not see the picture of course. Or he sees a picture and again doesn't know what to press. Fortunately (I hope) I've got those few things set up and won't need them anymore.
