The Bentech photo trap is an automated camera used to capture photos or videos. The motion sensor detects the slightest activity, at which point it starts recording. IR illumination with a wavelength of 940 nm will help the photo trap to capture the scene even if it is completely dark because it emits the infrared part of the light spectrum that is invisible to the eye. The photo trap is thus useful not only in hunting, but also as a device that acts as a photo trap for thieves. The manufacturer has thought about the fact that thieves would not notice it at all and at the same time it can take quality pictures. It requires 4 or 8 AA batteries to operate. The battery life depends on how often the photo trap takes a picture or how many times it forwards its recordings to you. Its maximum endurance is up to 240 d. In the package with the photo trap there is a manual, USB-C cable, wall mount and strap.

Photo trap captures quality footage even in challenging conditions
The Bentech photo trap remains in sleep mode until motion is detected in its vicinity. In this case, the shutter speed is between 0.2 and 0.6 seconds. Detects motion up to 20 m away. Its 2Mpx sensor captures high quality photos up to 48Mpx. Video is recorded at a maximum resolution of 4K (3840 × 2160, 10 fps). The angle of view determines how much space the photo trap can cover. It's 90°. The Bentech photo trap is able to withstand even harsh and changeable weather. The device is equipped with IP66 degree of protection and is therefore completely protected against dust and can withstand intense water spray.

The Bentech photo trap offers many features to make it as convenient as possible to use. Thanks to the integrated TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480 × 234 megapixels, aiming the photo trap will be extremely easy. Display immediately shows everything the photo trap "sees". Just fix it in the desired place and then switch it on. Ideally, it should be placed above the level of the area to be scanned. The photo trap automatically saves all recordings to a 512 GB microSD memory card.
