The AXAGON HMC-HCR3A multiport USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 hub expands your laptop, computer or phone with four ports and an SD/microSD memory card reader. It provides the convenience of a large number of ports and connectors. It expands the usability of your laptop, helps you to better organise your workspace and allows you to disconnect all your electronics in a matter of seconds. The AXAGON docking station and the laptop are connected via a USB-C interface. The docking station's body is made of aluminium. Thanks to the LED indicator, you have an overview of the most important statuses at a glance. Via the reversible USB-C connector, you can easily and quickly connect three USB devices, memory cards and an HDMI display to your computer at the same time. The USB-C hub provides you with a simple and compact 5-in-1 docking station for your laptop. The USB hub offers three USB outputs with standard USB-A connectors. The hub can handle the permanent connection of several external drives at the same time. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, the hub's transfer speed is up to 5Gb/s. The hub also allows you to charge phones and tablets with a current of up to 1.5A/5V, so you can easily charge an Android smartphone, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, etc. from the hub. A higher surface temperature of the hub is not a problem – the heat generated by the hub's operation is better dissipated and transferred to the surroundings.

HDMI and Reader
The HDMI output provides a high-quality image up to 4K/30Hz Ultra HD resolution and supports multi-channel audio transmission. Popular gaming resolutions are also supported, such as WQHD 2560×1440 at 60Hz or FullHD 1920×1080 at 60, 100 and 120Hz max. For the video output to work correctly, the laptop's USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or Thunderbolt 3. The card reader supports all versions of SD and microSD cards, including SDXC and microSDXC with capacities up to 2TB. High transfer speeds are ensured by the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface. The card reader allows you to work with cards in both slots simultaneously and to copy directly between them.

The elegant aluminium body ensures not only mechanical durability but also high-quality cooling. The finely textured surface, which does not show fingerprints, is also a pleasing feature. The port replicator is the ideal accessory for laptops without USB-A connectors, card readers and video output. You can use your existing USB peripherals with the hub without having to buy new ones. Thanks to the Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub is very simple without any complicated installation, and you can also easily connect and disconnect peripherals while the computer is running. The hub can even be connected to phones with a USB-C connector. You can connect a flash drive, keyboard, mouse, monitor, TV or projector to your phone.

For the video output to function, the hub must be plugged into a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) or a USB-C port that supports Thunderbolt 3. A suitable OS is also required. Without this support, the video output function will not be available.
