AXAGON CRE-SM2 Smart Card & SD/microSD/SIM Card

The AXAGON CRE-SM2 StandReader, a universal desktop smart card/ID card reader with a USB 2.0 interface, also features slots for SD and microSD memory cards and SIM cards. The card reader supports all common formats of contact-based smart cards , chip cards and other contact-based cards, including bank payment cards and contact-based electronic identity cards. The reader is fully compatible with the eObčanka (CZ) or eID Client (SK) applications. The AXAGON CRE-SM2 desktop smart card/ID card reader with a USB 2.0 interface also features slots for SD and microSD memory cards and SIM cards. Thanks to the SIM card slot – which includes SIM management software – and the SD and microSD card slots, the reader can also be used for data backup and transfer. Compatibility with all common operating systems, such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS, enables a wide range of applications. Its well-thought-out design, high-quality build, non-slip pads and sufficiently long cable ensure easy and trouble-free use.

Note: The reader only supports contact cards with visible contacts on the surface. A card without contacts is therefore an RFID card and cannot be used in the reader.
