How to Keep the Battery in Good Condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, but its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the full charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times prior to operation. The battery capacity reduces with permanent connection to a power supply, so it is recommended to disconnect the device from the mains when not needed. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and charge it after approximately six months.
What Harms the Battery?
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when it is depleted completely and not used for a long period of time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only when it reaches room temperature. Only use the battery with the devices for which it is intended.
