ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti O16G
The ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti O16G graphics card is based on the Blackwell architecture with a GB203 graphics processor and features 16GB of GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit bus. The core frequency reaches 2497MHz, while the memory operates at 30GHz. The card uses a PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface and offers connectivity via DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b, with the ability to connect up to four monitors simultaneously. It supports DLSS 4.0 with Multi Frame Generation, full ray tracing with fourth-generation ray tracing cores, and NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp for minimal latency.
Key features of the ASUS PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 Ti O16G graphics card
- NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with fifth-generation Tensor Cores and fourth-generation Ray Tracing Cores enables full ray tracing with neural rendering and high AI performance
- 16GB GDDR7 memory provides ample capacity and bandwidth for demanding game titles, ray tracing and AI applications
- DLSS 4.0 with Multi Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp ensure gaming performance, smoothness, fast response and high image quality
- A trio of Axial-tech fans with longer blades and a barrier ring delivers above-average airflow, lower temperatures and less noise
- A phase-change GPU thermal pad and MaxContact technology increase thermal transfer at the contact surface by 5% and optimise heat dissipation
- Dual BIOS with switching between Performance and Quiet modes, dual ball fan bearings with double the lifespan, and Auto-Extreme technology ensure high reliability
Cooling and construction
A trio of fans provides airflow for effective cooling. The Prime RTX 5070 Ti has a 2.5-slot design with a clear layout of the shroud, heatsink, and heatpipes, so the three Axial-tech fans can utilise the chassis side panel ventilation to deliver optimal cooling performance. The three Axial-tech fans feature a smaller hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that pushes air downwards, resulting in lower temperatures, less noise, and higher performance.
Thermal solution
Large backplate vents improve heat dissipation and help keep the GPU cooler during intensive tasks. This airflow increases performance, lifespan, and stability by preventing overheating and thermal throttling. The MaxContact solution increases the heat spreader's surface area over the GPU by 5%, which, combined with the heatsink and powerful Axial-tech fans, reduces temperatures by up to 2°C. A phase-change GPU thermal pad, which melts to effectively fill the gaps between the GPU and the cooling module, provides efficient thermal conductivity and better heat dissipation.
Construction
ASUS GPU Guard uses an adhesive to secure all four corners to reduce the risk of cracks, while a GPU bracket helps ensure even mounting pressure and more stability. The printed circuit board is reinforced with an aluminium backplate that adds structural rigidity, helping to prevent flex and protect components and trace paths from damage. The mounting bracket is made from 304 Stainless Steel, chosen for its strength and high corrosion resistance. ASUS Auto-Extreme Technology allows all soldering to be completed in a single pass, reducing thermal strain on components.
Technology
Fifth-generation Tensor Cores deliver maximum AI performance thanks to FP4 and DLSS 4.0, with streaming multiprocessors optimised for neural shaders. Fourth-generation Ray Tracing Cores are built to handle Mega Geometry. Full ray tracing with neural rendering provides lifelike graphics. NVIDIA Broadcast and the ninth-generation NVIDIA Encoder enhance any video with AI. The NVIDIA app with Game Ready and Studio Drivers delivers performance and reliability. NVIDIA G-SYNC provides modern gaming display technologies.
Software and modes
The Dual BIOS lets you switch between Performance and Quiet modes. In Performance mode, the fans spin up to keep the card consistently cool. Quiet mode maintains the same power target and top-end settings but offers a less aggressive fan curve for quieter operation at moderate temperatures. The ASUS GPU Tweak III utility takes graphics card tuning to the next level. It lets you tweak critical parameters, including GPU core clocks, memory frequency, and voltage settings, with the option to monitor everything in real-time through a customisable on-screen display.
