The compact ARCTIC Alpine 23 CO processor cooler, with a maximum noise level of 22.5dB, is compatible with both AM4 and AM5 sockets. Its dual ball bearing technology allows for continuous 24/7 operation. Its extruded radial heatsink with Y-shaped fins ensures excellent heat dissipation while measuring just 65mm in height. PWM controls the fan speed up to 2000rpm. Pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste and tool-free installation via mounting clips enable quick and clean fitting onto existing AMD retention modules.

Innovative manufacturing process for higher cooling performance
A special type of extrusion process fully preserves the high thermal conductivity of aluminium, creating a powerful yet very compact radial heatsink. The extremely thin cooling fins are fanned out in a Y-shape, which increases the surface area of the heatsink and thus its cooling performance. This design ensures efficient heat dissipation even under heavy processor load.
Advanced motor technology with a wide speed range
The Alpine 23 CO uses modern motor technology with a very wide speed range controlled via PWM. The improved motor runs significantly more efficiently than its predecessors and, thanks to sine-wave magnetisation, produces only 5% of the vibration of a conventional DC motor. These factors contribute to saving energy, lowering the coil temperature, and minimising vibrations without compromising performance, while the 10°C lower motor temperature approximately doubles the fan's lifespan.
Reliability for continuous operation
The premium dual ball bearing allows for continuous operation without the slightest compromise in performance. Dust and high temperatures affect this bearing significantly less than common sleeve or single ball bearings. The ARCTIC motor technology used offers a four times longer lifespan thanks to its low coil temperature. Compatibility with the AM5 socket is maintained through identical mechanical dimensions to the widespread AM4 platform.
