Key features of the Apple HomePod mini 2 smart speaker, pink
- Rich 360° sound with the Apple S10 chip and computational audio
- Stereo pairing, multiroom audio via AirPlay and a spatial setup with four HomePods
- Sound Glow feature syncs light with your music
- Home hub for Apple Home Collection, HomeKit and Matter
- Temperature and humidity sensors with smoke and CO alarm recognition
- Five colours: white, pink, blue, green and midnight
Big sound in a compact body
The Apple HomePod mini 2 fills the room with rich 360° sound, despite its minimal footprint. A full-range driver, dual force-cancelling passive radiators and computational audio driven by the Apple S10 chip continuously optimise dynamics, volume and acoustics.
Stereo, multiroom and home cinema
Pair two identical HomePod mini 2 speakers for stereo sound, or link multiple speakers via AirPlay for a multiroom system. With four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers in matching front and rear pairs, combined with an Apple TV 4K (4th generation), you can create an automatically calibrated spatial home cinema setup.
Sound Glow turns music into a light experience
The Sound Glow feature illuminates the top touch surface with colours that match the playing album art, and the light pulses to the bass and treble. Visual animations also accompany selected ambient soundscapes, such as rain.
Hub for your smart home
The HomePod mini 2 works as an Apple Home hub. Control compatible Apple Home Collection, HomeKit and Matter accessories using your voice or the Home app, trigger scenes and automations, and monitor your home remotely. Integrated sensors track temperature and humidity, while Sound Recognition can alert you to smoke or carbon monoxide alarms.
Siri, multiple users and privacy
Siri recognises the voices of up to six household members to deliver a personalised experience. Siri AI is coming in a future software update, with availability depending on supported languages and regions. Requests are processed directly on the device or using Private Cloud Compute, ensuring Apple never accesses their content.
Five colours and a matching design
The HomePod mini 2 is available in white, pink, blue, green and midnight. Seamless acoustic mesh and a braided power cable perfectly match the colour of the speaker body, while the backlit top surface offers simple touch controls.
