- Stereo pairing, multiroom audio via AirPlay, and surround sound setup with four HomePods
- Sound Glow feature synchronises light with your music
- Home hub for Apple Home Collection, HomeKit and Matter
- Temperature and humidity sensors, plus smoke and CO alarm detection
- Five colours: white, pink, blue, green and midnight
Big sound in a compact body
Apple HomePod mini 2 fills the room with rich 360° audio while taking up minimal space. A full-range driver, dual force-cancelling passive radiators and computational audio powered by the Apple S10 chip constantly optimise dynamics, volume and acoustic performance.
Stereo, multiroom and home cinema
Pair two identical HomePod mini 2 speakers for stereo sound, or connect multiple speakers via AirPlay for a multiroom system. With four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers set up in matching front and rear pairs, combined with an Apple TV 4K (4th generation), you can create an automatically calibrated home cinema surround sound setup.
Sound Glow turns music into a visual experience
The Sound Glow feature lights up the top touch surface with colours matching the artwork of the currently playing album, with lights pulsing to the bass and treble. Visual animations also accompany selected ambient soundtracks, such as rain.
Hub for your smart home
HomePod mini 2 works as an Apple Home hub. Control compatible Apple Home Collection, HomeKit and Matter accessories using your voice or the Home app, trigger scenes and automations, and check on your home remotely. Integrated sensors monitor temperature and humidity, while Sound Recognition can alert you to smoke or carbon monoxide alarms.
Siri, multiple users and privacy
Siri recognises the voices of up to six family members to offer personalised requests. Siri AI is coming in a future software update, with availability depending on supported languages and regions. Requests are processed directly on the device or using Private Cloud Compute, keeping your content completely private from Apple.
Five colours and a matching design
HomePod mini 2 comes in white, pink, blue, green and midnight. The seamless acoustic mesh and braided power cable match the speaker body perfectly, while the backlit top surface offers simple touch control.
