Design
Starring stainless steel, aluminium and textile mesh.
Apple AirPods Max are over-ear headphones unlike any you have seen before. They are made from stainless steel and aluminium. A special highlight is the telescoping arms, which allow you to find the ideal position for the large earcups. These, by the way, are made of a breathable fabric and plenty of memory foam. So is the perfectly comfortable headband, which ensures even weight distribution and reduces pressure on your head.
Sound
Faithful music reproduction.
At the heart of AirPods Max are massive dynamic drivers, which are designed based on the speakers in the best floor-standing loudspeakers. This gives you superior sound across the entire frequency range, even at high volume. The adaptive EQ is another enticing feature, which, among other things, adjusts the sound according to the seal of the Apple AirPods Max earcups.
ANC
Active Noise Cancellation.
The modern Apple H1 chip in each earcup of the AirPods Max also controls the ambient noise cancellation system. Simply press the physical button on the headphones to easily switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.
Controls
Digital Crown in action.
Apple Watch owners will appreciate the presence of a Digital Crown on the AirPods Max as well. It provides a pleasant way to adjust the volume, skip tracks or answer calls.
