How to set the Aerolite suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set. If you wish to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory code is preset to 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of TSA locks, marked with the red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. This can also speed up the inspection process. Security staff can use this type of lock to open and inspect baggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA staff. After inspecting the baggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice in your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
