The new Auto-Stack feature groups photos by GPS location, time taken, or visual similarity, while Custom Stacking allows you to create your own groups of photos. Visual similarity uses a new AI engine for comparing images, which also powers the AI Reverse Image Search. Thanks to this, you can find a specific photo based solely on its appearance. Photo Stacking
Keep your catalogue tidy by stacking sequences, exposure brackets, and near-identical photos, or let the software automatically group shots by location and time taken. Related photos can be collapsed into a single stack, with the best shot at the top and all its variants just a click away. No photos are deleted or merged.
Auto-Stack
Select a folder and let ACDSee automatically find groups of photos. Photos can be automatically stacked by:
- GPS location
- Time taken
- Image similarity
- Any combination of these criteria
Set your thresholds according to your shooting style. A stricter setting is ideal for a rapid sequence of shots, for example, while a looser setting works well for a day-long shoot. The settings can be saved as a preset and applied to another folder using a keyboard shortcut. Grouping by location or time takes just a few seconds, even in folders with thousands of photos.
Custom Stacking
Some groups of photos only make sense according to your own criteria. Select the shots you're deciding between and keep the whole group together. Group photos according to your own needs, such as by exposure bracket, a series of shots, or a specific client's selection. You can rearrange the stack at any time and set the photo you care about as the first one.
AI Reverse Image Search
Some photos are easier to recognise by their appearance than by a verbal description. When browsing folders, AI Image Similarity compares photos based on their visual similarity, without the need for manual tagging or keywords. Select any photo and use AI Reverse Image Search to find all visually similar shots. This makes it easy to find all photos from a particular series, shots of a specific location, or photos that have a similar look.
Group By AI Image Similarity
The improved Group By tool now also offers grouping by AI image similarity. It automatically groups visually similar photos, making it easy to spot patterns, near-identical shots, or photos that might otherwise be overlooked. The feature can be applied to a single folder, multiple folders, or search results. When combined with AI Keyword Search, you can narrow down a vast photo collection to the exact images you're looking for.
Reject Tag
Not every photo is a winner. With the new Reject Tag, you can mark blurry, out-of-focus, or otherwise flawed images while you browse, and then view and delete all rejected photos at once.
AI Face Edit
The new AI Face Edit features, developed based on feedback from professional photographers, provide even greater control over portrait editing.
- Naturally adjust facial features such as the eyes, nose, mouth, cheekbones, or jawline using simple sliders.
