The device's hardware platform achieves a firewall throughput of up to 250Mbps. This speed smoothly handles normal network traffic without unnecessarily slowing down connected users. The device can process up to 100000 concurrent connections, which meets the requirements of small and medium-sized companies. The optimised architecture maintains stable throughput even when advanced security features are activated.
Secure connection via VPN
The device supports L2TP, IPsec and IKEv2 protocols for securely connecting remote users and branch offices. Users can create up to 20 concurrent IPsec VPN tunnels for a stable connection between locations. The VPN throughput reaches 62.5Mbps, which is sufficient for the reliable transmission of encrypted data. The maximum number of SSL/VPN connections is 15, enabling flexible remote working for selected employees.
Flexible network interface
The device offers five RJ-45 ports supporting 10/100/1000Base-T speeds. You can configure all of these ports as either LAN or WAN, depending on the current needs of your network topology. It also includes one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for connecting external devices or backup modems. This versatility allows for easy integration into an existing network infrastructure without needing to purchase additional switches.
Advanced network management
The system supports splitting the network into a maximum of 8 virtual VLANs for the effective isolation of different departments or guests. The integrated DHCP server and DHCP client facilitate the automatic configuration of IP addresses on the network. The QoS feature helps to prioritise critical network traffic, such as voice communication or video transmissions. Network administrators can also use the DMZ Host function to securely expose selected services to the internet.
Multi-layered network security
Network protection includes DoS attack prevention and Port Security. Access rules are defined using the Rule Management tool, which provides detailed control over both outgoing and incoming traffic. The IGMP and DHCP Snooping features protect the network against unauthorised multicast broadcasts and rogue DHCP servers. This comprehensive system filters malicious content right at the entry point to the internal network.
