The AMOLED display on the Xiaomi Watch 2 is a joy to behold. Everything is perfectly visible on the 1.43" screen, and thanks to AMOLED technology, you can look forward to a more colourful and smoother display. The Xiaomi Watch also excels with superb readability in direct sunlight, so you'll never miss an incoming notification. The brightness reaches a maximum of 600 nits. The watch display has a resolution of 466 × 466 px with a fineness of 326 PPI. You can easily customise the look of your watch by choosing from a huge number of watch faces, including new ones featuring themes of endangered animals, plants, and landscapes.
Xiaomi Watch 2 enables contactless payments
NFC technology lets you make contactless payments with your Xiaomi watch via Google Pay. In addition, the smartwatch supports over 200 popular third-party apps, which you can download and install from Google Play. Thanks to the Wear OS by Google operating system, you can also enjoy several pre-installed applications that run smoothly.
High-capacity battery with long life
The stylish Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch is equipped with a 495mAh battery that provides up to 65 hours of typical use, thanks to Qualcomm's hybrid architecture that optimises power consumption. It recharges via a magnetic charger.
The watch has its own dual-band GPS
The smartwatch features its own dual-band GPS with support for five satellite systems: BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. This allows it to accurately determine your position during training, so you can count on precise distance and speed measurements. You can now view records from outdoor activities (running, cycling) in the Mi Fitness app, where you will see every step of your route. What's more, Google Maps is pre-installed on the smartwatch, so you can get voice navigation instructions directly from your watch.
Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch offers over 160 sports modes
Don't be afraid to get active and start exercising or trying other activities. The Xiaomi Watch 2 accurately measures your performance parameters—heart rate, average heat, or calories burned. You can choose from over 160 sports modes. With the Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch, you can record the duration, distance, and average speed of every ski/snowboard run. You can find more detailed information in the app on the results page, and you can even view a map of your ski trail.
Google voice assistant
Simplify your daily tasks, send messages, control smart devices in your home, add your own notes, or record new events in your calendar via the Google voice assistant, which also works on the Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch.
Fast performance with lower power consumption
The Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch is equipped with a 4nm processor that delivers better performance and lower power consumption. The 32GB of internal memory gives you plenty of space to install a variety of apps and watch faces, or to store lots of playlists for listening to music.
Xiaomi Watch 2 is water-resistant
The smartwatch has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, so you can go swimming and measure your performance without worry. Not to mention rain or sweat—neither will harm the Xiaomi Watch 2.
Advanced 12-channel PPG biosensor
The Xiaomi Watch 2 performs 24-hour heart rate monitoring and can monitor blood oxygen level (SpO₂). The PPG biosensor with improved hardware and algorithms ensures more accurate heart rate measurement during low and very high-intensity activities. If you are feeling stressed, the Xiaomi Watch 2 can offer you breathing exercises to help you calm down. You can adjust the blood oxygen measurement interval—keep it on all day or set your preferred interval. The Xiaomi Watch 2 smartwatch more accurately records your nightly sleep, including all its phases, and also captures occasional short naps during the day. With the Xiaomi watch, you can identify your sleep pattern and improve your sleeping habits.
Keep all your information in sight
All measured values are transferred to the Mi Fitness app after pairing the Xiaomi Watch 2 with your smartphone. In the app, you can better monitor changes in your health, activity, and rest, and evaluate all the data more effectively. You can also look forward to support for popular apps like Strava and Suunto.
Easier photo taking
The Xiaomi Watch 2 display can show a preview of the photo you are about to take with your paired smartphone. Of course, you can also control the camera shutter, record videos, or set up time-lapse shots with a 3 or 5-second timer.
Handle calls from your paired phone on your wrist
Connect the Xiaomi Watch 2 to your phone via Bluetooth and you can handle incoming calls from your wrist. The watch is equipped with a microphone and a speaker. The speaker can also be used in an emergency, as pressing the side button in the bottom right corner three times will dial your emergency contact. For this feature to work, the Xiaomi Watch 2 must be connected to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and an emergency contact must be set in the app. A notification can also be sent automatically to the contact if you do not respond to the prompt that you are okay within 60 seconds.
