Ubiquiti USW-Pro-Max-48-PoE, 720W

The Ubiquiti USW-Pro-Max-48-PoE L3 switch is designed for managing and expanding corporate networks. It offers a total of 48 ports, 16 of which support 2.5GbE speeds and 32 operate at 1GbE. Four 10Gb/s SFP+ ports provide high-speed connectivity to servers or the network backbone. Thanks to its support for PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ standards and a total PoE budget of 720W, it can also power energy-demanding devices. The switch is equipped with Etherlighting™ technology and is designed for rack mounting.

High PoE Power for Demanding Devices

The switch is designed to power network elements. With support for 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++) standards, it can power both standard IP phones and energy-demanding access points or security cameras. The total PoE budget is 720W, with sixteen ports providing up to 60W of power per port. This combination ensures a reserve for future network expansion.

Etherlighting™ and Central Management

A key feature of this switch is its ports with Etherlighting™ technology. These ports use backlighting to visually signal information such as connection speed, VLAN membership, or the physical location of the port, which simplifies network management and diagnostics. All configuration and monitoring are handled centrally via the UniFi Network Controller, which must be version 8.0.24 or newer.

Flexible Connectivity and Advanced L3 Features

The switch offers a port configuration ideal for corporate networks. In addition to 32 gigabit ports, there are also sixteen 2.5GbE ports, which increase the throughput of connected devices. Four high-speed 10Gb/s SFP+ ports are used for backbone connections or linking to other network elements. As an L3 switch, it offers advanced networking features, including network segmentation using VLANs, traffic prioritisation (QoS), and link aggregation (LACP) to increase connection capacity.
