Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G5 Turret Ultra Black
Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G5 Turret Ultra Black
The Ubiquiti UniFi Video Camera G5 Turret Ultra IP camera captures its surroundings in 2688 × 1512 px resolution at 30 frames per second. The 1/2.4" CMOS sensor captures a clear image in all lighting conditions. The horizontal field of view covers an angle of 102.4° and the vertical direction covers 54.9°. Classic infrared night vision with an afterglow works reliably up to a distance of 30m. Integrated algorithms perform detection of people, vehicles and animals. Power is provided by standard PoE technology via an Ethernet cable, which simplifies wall or ceiling mounting. The aluminium alloy construction resists adverse weather conditions.

Image Parameters
The 1/2.4" CMOS sensor captures video in 2688 × 1512 px resolution, which corresponds to the 4MP standard. The fixed, single-element lens provides a stable focal length for constant monitoring of a selected area. The horizontal viewing angle is 102.4°, the vertical angle is 54.9° and the screen size angle is 120.6°. The H.264 format is used for video compression, which effectively reduces data rate and storage capacity requirements. The smoothness of the recording is supported by a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
Night Vision
The device uses classic infrared night vision for monitoring the area in low light conditions. The built-in IR LED illumination is complemented by a mechanical IR filter that activates automatically at dusk. The night vision range is 30 metres, which is sufficient to cover larger outdoor and indoor areas. The built-in infrared diodes emit invisible light for discreet monitoring. This system provides a clear black and white image without the need for external light sources.
Intelligent Detection
The camera offers advanced real-time image analysis. Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms recognise people, vehicles and animals, minimising false alarms. The system supports smart search in recordings and automatic counting of people and vehicles passing through a selected zone. Users receive instant notifications on their mobile phones when any suspicious activity is detected. Image settings include adjusting brightness, contrast, sharpness and masking private zones.
Construction and Durability
The turret design, made of aluminium alloy and polycarbonate, is resistant to weathering thanks to its IP66 rating and to mechanical damage with its IK04 certification. The device operates in a temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. The camera can be manually panned up to 360° and tilted up to 75°. Power is supplied exclusively via standard PoE with a supported voltage range of 37 to 57V. Power consumption does not exceed 4W, contributing to economical operation. A wall or ceiling mounting bracket is included in the package.
Connectivity and Application
Connection to the network is provided by a single RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100 MbE. Device management and live streaming are handled in the UniFi Protect application, which is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows operating systems. Recordings are securely stored on a private cloud or an NVR network recorder. The entire system works locally without the need to send data to third-party servers.
