Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-Theta-Lens, indoor, 8Mpx
Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-Theta-Lens, indoor, 8Mpx
The Ubiquiti UniFi IP camera captures indoor spaces in a 3264 × 2448 px resolution at a frame rate of 24 FPS. The 8MP CMOS sensor works with a fixed lens that provides a 36.2° horizontal angle of view. The aluminium alloy and polycarbonate construction weighs just 15g. The device operates in a temperature range of -20°C to 40°C and is powered by a 5V DC supply with a consumption of up to 2.5W. The compact box design makes it easy to mount on a wall or ceiling using the included mounting hardware.

Image Parameters
This network camera works with a single fixed lens and an 8MP CMOS sensor, which creates video in 3264 × 2448 px resolution. The smoothness of the recording is determined by the 24 FPS frame rate. The horizontal field of view is 36.2°, the vertical is 27.7°, and the screen size is 44.4°. For efficient data transfer, the camera uses the H.264 compression format, which reduces data flow requirements while maintaining a high level of detail.
Smart Detection and Alarms
Security features include advanced algorithms for recognising specific objects in the monitored area. The system reliably detects standard motion, the presence of people, and the passage or parking of cars. Second-generation advanced motion detection analyses the scene in real time and eliminates false alarms caused by minor changes in light. In the event of a breach, the system activates an integrated audio alarm and sends a notification to the connected mobile phone.
Audio Features
The integrated audio equipment extends monitoring capabilities with a real-time acoustic dimension. The device supports two-way audio transmission, which facilitates communication with people in the monitored area. The built-in microphone captures clear sounds from the surroundings. Two-way communication helps to resolve crisis situations remotely without the need for personal presence on site.
Connectivity and Mobile App
Connectivity is provided by a wired Ethernet connection, which ensures stable data transfer to the network. All captured recordings are saved to cloud storage for later playback. The device is managed via a mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems. The user interface supports English, German and French, which makes it easy to set up activity zones and other parameters.
