Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UNVR G2 Pro

Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UNVR G2 Pro
The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UNVR G2 Pro recording device stores and manages video recordings from security cameras in a network environment. This device processes the image stream from camera systems and ensures continuous surveillance of monitored areas. The 8.4kg steel chassis offers a stable structural base for installation in a 2U rack. Users manage the system using the UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, and UniFi Connect apps. Power is supplied by an internal power supply with a power consumption of up to 200W.
Key features of the Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UNVR G2 Pro recording device

- Device contains eight hard drive bays with data protection support
- Network interface includes one 10G SFP+ port and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port
- Eight-core Qualcomm Kryo processor operates at speeds up to 3.2GHz
- System supports simultaneous operation of UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, and UniFi Connect platforms
- Power backup uses the USP-RPS input to prevent outages
- Total RAM has a capacity of 16GB
Camera capacity
The device supports the connection of a large number of camera units for comprehensive building coverage. The system handles the simultaneous operation of up to 50 cameras in 4K resolution or 100 cameras in Full HD resolution. Users can view up to 16 simultaneous 4K video streams on connected monitors. The high performance of the eight-core Qualcomm Kryo processor ensures smooth image processing without delay. The processor architecture combines powerful and energy-efficient cores for effective load distribution.
Flexible disk storage
The recorder contains eight bays for hard drives or SSDs in 2.5" and 3.5" formats. Total power consumption for the installed drives is 155W. The system provides data protection against loss in the event of drive failure. Users configure drive arrays according to their own capacity and security requirements.
Network connection
Modern, high-throughput network interfaces transfer large volumes of data from the cameras. The device contains one 10G SFP+ port and one 2.5GbE RJ45 port. The fast connection eliminates bottlenecks when transferring high-definition video. Optical and metallic ports allow flexible integration into existing network infrastructure. Network administrators can use redundant power via the external USP-RPS system.
Integrated event analysis
The recorder evaluates recorded footage directly in the hardware without the need for external servers. Built-in algorithms detect motion, people, or vehicles in the cameras' field of view. This analysis reduces the time needed to find key incidents in the stored archive. Local data processing increases the security of the entire system against leaks of sensitive information. The device meets NDAA standards for installation in government and commercial buildings.
