Cobi 5868 WW II Spitfire Mk. I N3200, 1:48, 146 hp
The Supermarine Spitfire is considered a symbol of British resistance during the Battle of Britain. The aircraft, designated N3200, was piloted by Squadron Leader Geoffrey Stephenson in May 1940 when it was shot down over Dunkirk and the aircraft ended up in the sea. After many years, the wreck was recovered, restored and put back into flying condition. Today you can see it at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, UK. Spitfire Mk. I was known for its excellent maneuverability, speed and elegance. He served in the ranks of the RAF as the UK's chief defensive fighter. The model is assembled from 146 COBI building blocks and faithfully depicts the shape and historical markings of the legendary Spitfire. The set also includes an RAF pilot figure with period equipment and a stand for displaying the model.
