The Tesla KATKA retro desk lamp combines a design from years past with modern functionality. Its metal shade with a matte silver finish is complemented by a wooden base, creating an interesting visual contrast. The lamp is designed for indoor use, for example on a desk in a study. For illumination, it uses a standard E27 socket for an LED bulb, which you can choose according to your own preferences. It is powered from the mains via a 1.5-metre long cable.

Construction and use of the Katka lamp

The retro design of this lamp is based on the combination of two different materials. The metal shade directs light onto the work surface and is complemented by a wooden base. The lamp is intended exclusively for indoor use, which is also confirmed by its IP20 rating. This designation means it is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5mm, but does not provide protection against water. It is therefore suitable for placing in a dry location, such as on a desk in a study.
