The Tenda N6P-8H network recorder acts as the central hub for your camera security system in homes, cottages, businesses, warehouses, or shops. This NVR device connects to and powers up to 8 cameras simultaneously using its integrated PoE ports. The system processes high-resolution video recordings and saves them to an internal hard drive or cloud storage. You can manage the entire system remotely via a mobile app, a desktop program, or a web interface. The recorder integrates a total of 8 RJ-45 ports with support for PoE standards IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af. The total PoE budget is 70W, which is enough to power all connected cameras directly through the ethernet cable. This system simplifies installation, as only one cable is needed for each camera to transmit both data and power. You can transmit signal and power via ethernet cabling up to a distance of 250m.

For local data storage, the recorder offers a single slot for a SATA 3.0 hard drive. The supported HDD capacity reaches 10TB, providing ample space for long-term recording. In addition to a physical disk, you can also use secure cloud storage that complies with European ISO/IEC 27018 standards. Data sent to the cloud is protected by AES-256 encryption.
Compatibility and protection
The device fully supports the universal Onvif protocol version 16.06, which ensures compatibility with IP cameras from various brands. You can connect any cameras that support this standard to the recorder, making it easy to expand existing camera systems. The recorder also features a function to isolate bad sectors on the hard drive, which prevents system freezes and ensures smooth recording even as the HDD wears out. The recorder's design includes integrated protection against power surges from connected cameras up to 4000V. The device uses smart power management to regulate energy consumption according to the current needs of the recorder and cameras. The steel chassis, measuring 28.4×20.7×4.3cm and weighing 0.78kg, is designed for stable operation in a temperature range from 0°C to +40°C.
