The Tenda N6P-4H network recorder is used to record, store and manage footage from IP cameras in security systems. This device processes video recordings from four connected cameras and saves them to a hard drive or cloud storage for later analysis. The device is a key component for creating a camera security system for homes, holiday cottages, businesses, warehouses or shops, with simple setup and commissioning via ethernet cables. Once connected, the system is available online and allows remote monitoring of the designated areas. The Tenda N6P-4H network recorder records video at a resolution of up to 8MP, which corresponds to 3840×2160 pixels. To make efficient use of storage capacity and reduce network load, it uses the modern compression formats H.264+, H.265, H.264 and H.265+. This technology reduces bandwidth and storage requirements by up to 50% while maintaining image quality. The recorder also supports G.711A, G.711U and G.726 decoding codecs for audio processing.

Integrated PoE power for cameras
The device includes four RJ-45 PoE ports with a total power budget of 40W, compliant with IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af standards. This system can transmit both data and power over a single ethernet cable up to a distance of 250m. This simplifies the installation of cameras in the field, as there is no need to run a separate power cable to each camera.
System management
You can manage the system via a desktop application, the TDSEE mobile app for Android and iOS, or through the web interface in Chrome, Edge and Opera browsers. The mobile app sends instant notifications when motion is detected and provides remote monitoring in real time. The TDSEE app is available in English and also allows you to listen in via the cameras.
Data storage, compatibility and protection
For local data storage, it includes one bay for a SATA 3.0 hard drive with a capacity of 10TB. The recorder also supports storage on secure European cloud storage with 256-bit AES encryption, which complies with ISO/IEC 27018 data protection standards. This protects data against theft or physical damage to the recorder. Thanks to support for the standardised OnViF protocol version 16.06, this recording device works with cameras from various manufacturers. For connecting display devices such as monitors or televisions, the recorder offers HDMI and VGA video outputs with simultaneous signal output. The recorder also includes two RCA audio ports for audio input and output. The device has integrated surge protection from connected cameras up to 4kV. The bad sector isolation function on the hard drive prevents the system from freezing during data writing and ensures smooth recording even with partial disk wear. In addition, the recorder supports smart power, which regulates energy consumption according to current needs.
