The Tanglewood Blackbird TWBB O is an acoustic guitar with a more compact Orchestra (OM) body shape. The Blackbird series nostalgically harks back to the style of American acoustic guitars from the 1940s and 1950s. The guitar's body is made from layered African mahogany. The neck is joined to the body at the fourteenth fret, and the composite material fingerboard features twenty frets and position dot inlays. The strings are held by chrome Die-Cast machine heads and a composite bridge. The vintage look and feel of the instrument is enhanced by the Smokestack Black Satin finish on the top.
