The 2-litre STATUS 178551 professional gastronorm container is ideal for catering services, hotels, canteens, and homemade delicacy producers. Its volume makes it especially suitable for storing small or sliced foods, which you can prepare in advance to simplify your prep process without sacrificing the freshness, aroma, or flavour of the food. It's particularly useful for storing sliced meats, cheeses, freshly chopped vegetables and other pizza ingredients, lemon wedges, and prepared sauces that can be kept in the fridge. It also works well for chicken skewers and steaks intended for quick marination, as the vacuum opens the pores of the meat, allowing the marinade to penetrate deeper and in less time. Fresh and dried herbs will also retain their aroma better in a vacuum.

Innovative Tritan vacuum lids for standardised and hygienic storage
STATUS gastronorm containers are designed for maximum functionality and efficiency. All volumes have the same width and length, differing only in height. This design allows you to use one type of vacuum lid (not included) for all container sizes. Professional Tritan vacuum lids are offered in six colour variants corresponding to HACCP standards for easy identification of food categories, plus one neutral colour. These are: red for storing raw meat, green for storing vegetables, white for dairy products and pastries, blue for raw fish and other seafood, yellow for the safe storage of poultry, brown for cooked meat, and a neutral grey for other categories.
