The SONOFF AirGuard TH Pressure SNZB-02M is a compact Zigbee sensor for comprehensive monitoring of indoor conditions. It measures temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure, while the app also calculates the dew point and VPD from the measured values. It records temperature with an accuracy of ±0.2°C, humidity ±2% RH and pressure ±0.1hPa, with values updated every 5 seconds. The measured data can be used for notifications and automations, and its history can be tracked for up to 6 months. A compatible Zigbee gateway is required for operation.

5 Values for a Better Overview of Your Environment
The AirGuard TH Pressure monitors three basic quantities – temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. The application automatically calculates the dew point and VPD, giving you a total of five environmental indicators. This gives you a more detailed overview of the current conditions in the room and their long-term development in one place.
Values Updated Every 5 Seconds
The sensor continuously captures changes in the surrounding environment and updates the measured data every 5 seconds. The rapid data refresh allows even minor changes in temperature, humidity or atmospheric pressure to be recorded. The temperature is measured with an accuracy of ±0.2°C, humidity ±2% RH and atmospheric pressure ±0.1hPa.
Atmospheric Pressure Helps Track Weather Changes
The SNZB-02M also records the development of atmospheric pressure. Its gradual increase or decrease can help you better perceive changes in the surrounding weather conditions. The pressure trend thus provides additional indicative information on weather development. However, the values themselves do not represent a full weather forecast, as pressure also changes with altitude, location and season.
Dew Point and VPD for More Detailed Analysis
From the combination of the measured temperature and relative humidity, the application calculates the dew point and VPD. The dew point helps to monitor conditions associated with condensation and the risk of mould, while VPD provides useful data for plant care. The development of both values can also be viewed in the measurement history.
Long Life with a CR2477 Battery
Power is supplied by a single CR2477 coin cell battery, so the sensor does not require any power cable. Battery operation makes it easy to place on a shelf, wall, in the corner of a room or in another suitable indoor location. The battery life is approximately 2 years and can exceed 2 years under favourable conditions; it is influenced by the environment, usage and the quality of the Zigbee connection.
Alerts Based on Three Measured Quantities
You can set your own desired ranges for temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. As soon as any value exceeds the set limit, the app can immediately send a notification. This makes it easy to detect, for example, excessively high humidity, a significant drop in temperature or an unusual change in pressure.
Automations Based on Current Conditions
The values from the sensor can be used as conditions for smart scenes. A change in temperature, humidity or pressure can automatically trigger, for example, a fan, dehumidifier, air conditioner, window opening or other compatible automation. The sensor can therefore be used not only for monitoring data, but also as an active part of a smart home.
Environmental History for up to 6 Months
Up to 6 months of historical records can be viewed in the app. You can track the evolution of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, dew point and VPD, which makes it easy to compare conditions at different times and identify long-term trends.
Voice Control for Temperature and Humidity
After connecting via eWeLink, the current information can also be made available to compatible voice assistants. You can ask about the current temperature or humidity via Amazon Alexa or Google. For this function, the services are linked via the cloud.
Apple Home via a Matter Bridge
The SONOFF SNZB-02M communicates via Zigbee, but with a compatible Matter Bridge it can also be integrated into the Apple Home ecosystem. The sensor can thus be part of automations along with other devices available in Apple Home. The SNZB-02M itself is not a native Matter sensor – the connection is provided by a compatible Matter Bridge.
Support for Open Platforms
The Zigbee 3.0 standard also allows the sensor to be used with selected third-party platforms and Zigbee coordinators. The SNZB-02M can thus be integrated, for example, into more open smart home systems. When used with ZHA, a corresponding script is currently required for this model.
