Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 Sony FE II

The Samyang AF 50mm f/1.4 Sony FE II lens is designed for digital mirrorless cameras with Sony FE mount and Full Frame sensor. With a length of 88.9 mm, a diameter of 80.1 mm and a weight of 420 g, it is a very light and small lens. It offers a solid 50mm focal length, which corresponds to the natural angle of human vision. The filter can be used with a diameter of 72 mm. The f/1.4 lens is ideal for separating the subject from the background, shooting in low light or creating blurred backgrounds.

High optical quality and natural bokeh

Nine aperture blades allow forsmooth and natural bokeh. The optical design consists of 11 elements in 8 groups, including 2 ASP, 3 HR and 1 ED elements, and in conjunction with the full-frame sensor provides high contrast and sharpness throughout the image.

Precise and silent focusing

Focusing is provided by the STM linear stepper motor, which allows for quiet and precise movements of larger and heavier lenses, which will be appreciated by photographers and videographers alike. There is a custom switch on the lens body that allows you to change functions, such as adjusting the aperture using the focus ring. Additional features can be added through the docking station and firmware updates.

Like the AF 24-70mm f/2.8 FE lens, the AF 50mm f/1.4 has a rubber focusing ring with a microsensor to enhance comfort of use. The weather sealing allows use even in harsh conditions such as rain or dust.
