The SAFE Motion Guard Outdoor motion sensor detects disturbances in both indoor and outdoor spaces up to a distance of 15m. The device combines dual-element low-noise PIR sensor technology with a microwave sensor operating at a frequency of 24GHz. This combination of technologies enables precise evaluation of human movement and minimises the risk of false alarms in challenging conditions. The detector communicates wirelessly with the control unit and can be mounted on a wall, in a corner, or on a pole at an installation height of 0.8 to 1.3m.

Eliminate false alarms with dual technology
The combination of PIR and microwave technology delivers high detection accuracy even in areas with fluctuating temperatures. The microwave sensor analyses environmental influences and helps to distinguish the heat emissions of a human body from the movement of inanimate objects. This means the detector ignores moving branches, trees, or intense sunlight. A digital smart algorithm instantly evaluates the received signals in real time, preventing alarms from being triggered by normal changes in the external environment.
Immunity to pets
The security system takes the presence of pets into account and eliminates unnecessary stress from audible alarms. The integrated PET immunity technology allows animals to move freely within the protected area. The detector reliably ignores animals weighing up to 40kg and up to 80cm tall. The system precisely analyses infrared radiation and recognises the difference between a person and an animal, so it only reacts to a real intrusion.
Protection against sabotage and anti-masking
The device is equipped with advanced security features that prevent it from being damaged or disabled. The anti-masking function instantly detects any attempt to cover the sensor's optics. The tamper security feature, in turn, protects the device from unauthorised handling, dismantling or opening of the cover. In the event of any sabotage attempt, the motion sensor immediately sends a signal to the central unit.
Secure encryption and long signal range
Wireless communication takes place on a carrier frequency of 868MHz to 868.6MHz using two-way data transmission. The signal reaches a distance of up to 1600m in open spaces, which makes installation on large properties easier. AES encryption with a rolling code in AES128 mode protects all transmitted data. The frequency hopping function prevents the radio signal from being jammed or intercepted by other devices.
Temperature measurement at the installation site
An integrated temperature sensor provides a constant overview of the current conditions in the monitored area. The outdoor temperature measurement range is from −25°C to +65°C with a measurement accuracy of ±1°C. The device offers an unusual temperature alarm function, which alerts the user when set limits are exceeded. This feature helps to detect dangerous situations, such as an impending fire, in a timely manner.
Resistance to adverse weather
The design, featuring a hermetically sealed housing made of PC + GF material, meets the IP65 rating specifications. The detector easily withstands dust, rain and extreme temperatures from −25°C to +60°C. The package includes a protective Hood, which shields the lenses from snow and direct sunlight. The device is powered by four CR123A batteries, which provide power for up to 5 years under normal operation.
