The SAFE Motion Cam Outdoor with PhOD is an outdoor motion sensor designed to detect intrusions in outdoor spaces and provide subsequent visual verification of the event. The device combines dual PIR sensor technology with a microwave sensor, eliminating unwanted alarms caused by weather conditions or sunlight. The integrated camera captures JPEG images in resolutions from 160×120 to 1280×960 pixels and transmits them to the user's mobile app for an immediate situation check.

Reliable detection without false alarms
The combination of a dual-element low-noise PIR sensor and microwave technology operating at 24GHz ensures precise motion evaluation. The system ignores animals weighing up to 40kg and 80cm tall, which prevents alarms from being triggered by moving pets. Two-way digital temperature compensation automatically adjusts the detector's sensitivity according to the ambient conditions, in a range from -25°C to +60°C.
Visual verification
The built-in HD camera, with a horizontal viewing angle of 90° and a vertical viewing angle of 60°, captures the activity in front of the lens. For night monitoring, there is an infrared illuminator with an effective range of up to 15 metres, which activates automatically. The device sends images in the event of an alarm or at the user's request, with the frame rate reaching a value of 2.
Durable construction for demanding environments
The hermetically sealed casing, made from PC + GF material, meets the IP65 rating specification. The construction is resistant to dust, rain, and extreme temperature fluctuations in demanding outdoor conditions. The package includes a protective Hood to shield the optics from snow, rainwater, and direct sunlight. The device meets the requirements for security grade 2 and falls into environment class IV.
Secure, long-range communication
The wireless connection uses a carrier frequency from 868.0MHz to 868.6MHz with a transmitter power of 25mW. The signal reaches a distance of up to 1600 metres in open space for regular data and up to 1400 metres for image transmission. The security of the transmitted information is ensured by the AES128 encryption algorithm with a floating code structure. The system uses two-way communication and frequency hopping.
Simple setup and long battery life
Power is provided by four CR123A batteries, which supply energy for 4 years of device operation. Adding the device to the system is done by scanning a QR code via the mobile app, compatible from version v1.99.620. An integrated temperature sensor continuously measures the temperature in the range of -25°C to +65°C with an accuracy of ±1°C, and the user receives a low-battery notification.
